Shinnyo-en, a Buddhist denomination originally established in Japan, welcomes
all people regardless of age, gender, nationality, or religious background.

We endeavor to help all people develop their “Buddha nature” – the authentic awakened nature of themselves.

Shinnyo-en is founded on a 1,200-year-old tradition of wisdom and
compassion embodied in the Buddha’s teachings and expressed through
the Japanese Esoteric Buddhist traditions.
